Repeat Prescriptions

If you take medication regularly, it may be put on ‘repeat’ by one of our Doctors. This means that a Doctor has authorised you to have a certain number of prescriptions before they want to see you again to review how things are going.

All medication requests take up to two working days to be processed. Please put your requests in with plenty of time to avoid delays in continuing to take your medication.

Repeat prescriptions may be ordered by any of the following methods:

  • Online: In order to use this service you must first register. Please see the online services section of our website for more information.
  • By Telephone: Please ring 01706 253300 and select option 1. The prescription ordering line is open daily during the following times, Mon to Fri 9.30am - 11.30am and 1.30pm – 3.30pm.
  • In Person: By completing the printed slip attached to your previous prescription and leaving in the prescription box in the waiting room or post it to us.

If you would like your prescription to be collected by a pharmacy and/or delivered to your home it is your responsibility to contact your preferred pharmacy to arrange this with them.
